Palliative Care Specialist and Physician Assistant
Ashley Gregory, MHS PA-C is a physician assistant and end-of-life doula dedicated to providing compassionate, whole-person care for individuals and families navigating serious illness and the final stages of life. She joined Empowered Endings in 2023, bringing more than two decades of clinical experience in emergency medicine, primary care, and palliative care.
After earning her physician assistant degree from Duke University in 2001, Ashley spent 16 years practicing emergency medicine while mentoring physician assistant students and lecturing at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Her passion for helping patients live with greater comfort, dignity, and purpose led her to transition into primary care before completing advanced training in palliative care.
Ashley combines her medical expertise with the presence and guidance of an end-of-life doula, supporting patients and families through complex medical decisions, advance care planning, and end-of-life journeys. Her thoughtful, relationship-centered approach helps individuals feel informed, empowered, and deeply supported during life’s most meaningful transitions.
