Empowered Palliative Care was founded to address the gaps that patients, families, and professionals often experience in traditional healthcare. Led by Dr. Bob Uslander, MD, our work is grounded in decades of experience across emergency medicine, palliative care, and complex illness management.
We provide physician-led, in-home palliative care in San Diego that focuses on improving quality of life for individuals living with serious or complex illness. Our approach is designed to complement existing care. We bring additional time, clarity, and coordination to support patients, families, and the professionals involved in their care.
By working outside of traditional constraints, we are able to offer unhurried visits, personalized care, and consistent communication across providers. This allows us to better align care with each individual’s goals, values, and evolving needs.
