Kim Maller, RN, brings more than 20 years of nursing experience to Empowered Palliative Care, including 18 years in acute hospital settings and over 5 years in home health. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping patients and families navigate complex medical conditions with compassion, expertise, and personalized support.
As co-owner of Interim Healthcare of La Jolla, Kim is passionate about helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent wherever they call home. She believes that great healthcare is about more than managing symptoms—it is about understanding the whole person. Kim takes a holistic approach to care, considering not only physical health, but also emotional well-being, family relationships, personal goals, and overall quality of life.
At Empowered Palliative Care, Kim works closely with patients and families to ensure they understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and available resources so they can make informed decisions that align with their values and goals. She is committed to empowering patients to live as fully as possible while receiving the support they need to manage serious illness and maintain the best possible quality of life.
